 Established in 1986 in Auckland's Ponsonby area, Alfresco grew out of a landscape design and contracting business. Principal and founder Graham Hart saw an opportunity to supply products that would complement outdoor living spaces that Alfresco had been involved in creating. From an initial trailblazing exercise with Italian terracotta, the company has expanded into many facets of the outdoor living experience and is today still at the forefront of innovative, quality garden furnishings and accoutrements. Many of our products are designed and manufactured exclusively for Alfresco in New Zealand, which presents some of the most rigorous outdoor living environments on earth. Unsurpassed ultra-violet light levels and extreme coastal marine and alpine conditions provide year round challenges when designing and developing new products. Shipping our products all around New Zealand and even internationally (England, North Eastern USA, Australia) has allowed us to gain valuable experience in handling and shipping our product. For this reason, location need not be an obstacle for those specialized projects that require something different, something special. |
